Just one more moment, that's all that's needed,
Like wounded soldiers in need of healing
Time to be honest, this time I'm pleading,
Please don't dwell on it, 'cause I didn't mean it

I can't believe I said I'd lay our love on the ground,
But it doesn't matter 'cause I made it up, forgive me now
Everyday I spend away, my soul's inside out,
Gotta be some way that I can make it up to you now, somehow

By now you know that I'd come for you
No one but you, yes, I'd come for you
But only if you told me to
And I'd fight for you
I'd lie, it's true
Give my life for you
You know I'd always come for you

I was blindfolded, but now I'm seeing,
My mind was closing, now I'm believing
I finally know just what it means to let someone in,
To see the side of me that no one does, or ever will
So if you're ever lost and find yourself all alone,
I'd search forever just to bring you home,
Here and now, this I vow

By now you know that I'd come for you
No one but you, yes, I'd come for you
But only if you told me to
And I'd fight for you
I'd lie, it's true
Give my life for you
You know I'd always come for you

You know I'd always come for you

No matter what gets in my way
As long as there's still life in me
No matter what, remember
You know I'd always come for you

Yes I'd come for you, no one but you,
Yes I'd come for you, but only if you told me to

And I'd fight for you,
I'd lie, it's true
Give my life for you,
You know I'd always come for you

No matter what gets in my way,
As long as there's still life in me
No matter what, remember, you know I'd always come for you
I'd crawl across this world for you,
Do anything you want me to
No matter what, remember, you know I'd always come for you
You know I'd always come for you.

    Song Meaning

Pretty clear what the meaning here is; He's completely devoted to this person's happiness, and will do whatever it takes to be there for them.

    It's such a sweet song. :]

    Song Meaning

I dont know if any of you have seen the official music video of this song but in the music video the song tells of a teenage girl who skips dinner with her dad to go on a date. After pulling up to a baseball diamond. The guy has quite a temper and starts hurting her and trying to kiss her etc. The girl sends a text to her dad which reads "77". This is because there is a photo of her and her dad at that exact baseball diamond and they wore "77" on their uniforms. The father rushes out to the diamond and saves his daughter. THis song is really important to me because my dad is very protective of me and this song is so sweet and reminds me of him. :P

    My Interpretation

I think this song is about God and the human being. It talks about wounded soldier (war(of good vs evil)), and that God won't leave us behind no matter what gets in his way, but God talks in past tense, like he's reminding someone who is already lost that He was there for him and that He would have come for him, but only if he had told him to. Anyways this is what this song makes me think of and I think it's a good way of interpreting it cause it gives us hope of what will come after we die. Unrelated: One interesting thought: "Maybe life is a dream that we wake up when we die".

It's pretty clear too me that the song is about a guy who made a comment to his girlfriend that his girlfriend took really hard and the guy didnt mean it and now hes trying to convince her that shes the one and he would do anything to have her

    Lyric Correction

i think it's supposed to be "I'd lay our love under ground" not "I'd lay our love on the ground"

He reuses the verse melody from the previous album's "Dirty Little Religion", the topics of the verses are all over the place, and he packs too many words into one line (goes to show...) and too few in another (it's pretty hard to find), and rhymes "Henley Regatta" with "Persona non grata", but gets away with it all as only he could.

This song is def a twin to "Unfair" (a song she has been quoted as saying is about falling in love with someone who is already in a relationship) so it is presumably about the same person. Given the references to buying an apartment and not being able to see her love interest "after tonight," it's most likely that she's moving away and she'll "wait a day to break the bad news" (i.e. notifying him that she's leaving once she's already gone). And, of course, the fact that she sees in him a fellow "idealist" and "dreamer" (terms commonly given to people with the INFP personality on the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)) portends that she'll always be left wondering if they would've been perfect together.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
