Well I didn't think that it would end like this
Cutting of the blood to ten
With a rope around my wrist

But I think that every one imagines why
And where it is they're gonna die
And when it happens do we fly?

And I wished I could have told my son
That I was the coward one
It's never admirable when your father can't move on

Well I never thought that you would slip inside
Your brother's unfaithful wife
While the children were down the stairs

I saw what you were doing
And I wished that I have burnt that goddamn door
Finding both of you on the floor
Realizing your brides a whore
Really takes an enormous toll
On your head

Well I didn't think that you could craft this song
Sleeping with the devil and all
And I can hear you sing along

And I wished that I could have told the Lord
To sever me at the chord
Cause the moment I left I'd never come back no more

So hope that it actually ends for me this way
Cause tomorrow is another day
And I have to decide to stay or stay

For now I'll keep my hands around this thing
And wait for an apostle to sing
You're never allowed to come in

So just sink or swim

General Commentaww man, someone beat me to submitting this one. i totally submitted them the day the album came out, too. :P
but yeah, i like this song and i think its just him talking to his brother in his head, and he's possibly thinking about committing suicide? he tells his brother to hope his life ends for him this way... im not sure how exactly hes thinking about killing himself.

i love the emotion in "while the children were down the stairs"... like, "you scumbag, you couldnt even have the decency to wait until my children were out of the house?" he has complete hatred for his brother and his wife.
