Everybody feels blue sometimes
You gotta keep your own head on
And keep on trying
And if you feel the urge to raise your hand
You can start a revolution or start a band

You better sing your song and sing it loud!
But you better not here and you better do now!
Cause this is what you'll like that and how we live
There's some people cause that is what my song says!

Don't you bring your sadness down on me
When peace is free!
There's a sun up ahead brother
Waiting on me, can't you see?

Well I know times can get a little though
You gotta lean on me brother you can't give up
Forget about your problems and forget about your pain
Raise up our glasses and forget about our hate

Don't you bring your sadness down on me
When peace is free!
There's a sun up ahead brother
Waiting on me, can't you see?

Yeah know I know it sounds so bad!
But if you want it, take a stand yeah!

Don't you bring your sadness down on me
When peace is free!
There's a sun up ahead brother
Waiting on me, can't you see?

Can't the whole world love one another,
Throw down your weapon and fix all the hunger?

Don't you bring your sadness down on me!
When peace is free! When peace is free

    My Interpretation

i think this song is obviously about world peace of so,e description.

"Don't you bring your sadness down on me When peace is free"

think this means that dont he doesnt want to be told about all the problems in the world and how money can fix them when peace would fix them, and it costs nothing.

This is a AMAZING song, and i think everyone should have to listen to it at least once in their life. It is obviously about world peace, and that no matter what anyone says or does, only you have the power to make yourself happy.

Love the song, love the band, love the lyrics... All time favorite song

When I saw BSC live, I noticed that one of the guys had a tattoo with a peace sign and the name of this song.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
