Blood on My Neck from Success Lyrics
A suit that date spines,
Does fine in the winter.
Occasionally fine
Splinter feels bright
I've got blood on my neck,
From success
For landing on the corner
Scarded!
What they want from me
They...
A suit that date spines,
Does dine int he winter
Occasionally fine
Splinter feels bright,
Like you...
I've got blood on my neck,
From success.
From landing on the part of stump.
Well life can mean,
They've put me to sleep
On the next thing
I'm asleep
Because I'm being
You've scared me from me.
Ahh, me,
Cannot think
I've got a feel of ghost
Do what they've supposed to
Say what they're supposed to.
Now I've got you ,
Now I've got you.
Sharing me with your light.
Ahh, what's the fight.
What's the fight.
Does fine in the winter.
Occasionally fine
Splinter feels bright
I've got blood on my neck,
From success
For landing on the corner
Scarded!
What they want from me
They...
A suit that date spines,
Does dine int he winter
Occasionally fine
Splinter feels bright,
Like you...
I've got blood on my neck,
From success.
From landing on the part of stump.
Well life can mean,
They've put me to sleep
On the next thing
I'm asleep
Because I'm being
You've scared me from me.
Ahh, me,
Cannot think
I've got a feel of ghost
Do what they've supposed to
Say what they're supposed to.
Now I've got you ,
Now I've got you.
Sharing me with your light.
Ahh, what's the fight.
What's the fight.

I don't agree that it shows a hate for Lindy, but more a hate for the spotlight. The lines "You've scared me from me" and "sharing me with your light" suggest that John is of the opinion that he cannot write and flourish as a musician, making the most of his considerable talents while so many people are chasing after him, and this scares him, as the first quote suggests. I believe he refers to fame as a "splinter" in his neck, the success clouding his ability as a musician, so overall my interpretation is that John here feels alienated by the fame, and the poor relationship with the tour manager Lindy is but a side-effect of this.
This song was written and recorded just before John left the band in 1992. It's about John's hatred for Lindy - the manager of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and how Lindy's push for success was diminishing John's creativity.
John has since said that he no longer has any hatred towards Lindy since rejoining the band.
