A song to play when I'm lonely
Win and never play a game again
No one to face when I'm falling
Holding tight to dreams that never end

I'll be you
I do
I'll be you
No one's afraid to be called by another name
No one dares to be put down where they don't belong
Nowhere's anyone reason
Everything dying and leaving
Out with these faults and you make me baby
Faking a movement but no one's seeing it
No one always finds peace flung
No one chooses to beat my pride down

Symbols pierce right through me
People fail to be drawn up
Sunlight to fate accumalates
Loving pain to be clung to

Luminous bodies
Only waiting for long signs to be wrong
And true to us
Out of place in my own time
Drowning thinking that I'm dry
Holding onto facts that'll never be proven
Faking an action cuz no one's looking
Hello when I'm crashing
Feel nothing when my life's flashing before my eyes
You should've threw me down
Is the content so much

I think it means, like being with people where you dont belong. and he can be like them and he does, but he feels out of place. but if he leaves them then he will be alone of somehing like that. One of my favourite songs of all times. JF should sing this at RHCP's concerts.

a song to sing when im lonley how would you put it you feel lonely but theres crowds running round you and the only place theres peace and you can be lonely is well in another world forever and you want to be there and you embrace it all the time. you want to be there but dont want to leave here you still go thee lots but never leave here this song is seally for the spirtual people i think as its really hard to describe in this world but in most of the others it easy john dosent actually care about fame in this world at all and thats why he made so much music this year he wants to keep the spirits happy as they are his best friends in the whole universe (no offence to any of his friends) just what i think

no its not there is wednesdays song and song to sing when im lonely on the same album. its easy to get confused though but they mean nothing the same. i think john was intending to say that if there are crowds of people around you (real or pretend) there is always a part of you that will feel lonely

Taylor Swift
This song is Swift's response to the negative reputation the media has given her. "I can make the bad guys good for a weekend" - the bad guys are the paparazzi to Swift, but are good to the "player" since association with Swift immediately gives publicity. Any publicity is good publicity and Swift knows this. "You can tell me when it's over" - the tabloids rumor relationships are over before the couple announces it officially. With this song Swift is portraying the way she is portrayed by the media. It is a sarcastic jab at how she views herself and how her "ex-lovers" only wanted to be with her to increase their fame. I applaud the brilliance in writing about how you always write about relationships. It is expected so Swift is giving the media what they want and profiting off the attention.

Matt Paxton
Moyet later described how her song "Goodbye 70's" had been inspired by her disillusionment with how the late-1970s punk scene had turned out, saying, "'Goodbye 70's' is about punk and not caring how you were dressed, and then I discovered that so many of my friends that I'd thought it all really meant something to just saw it as another trend... That's what 'Goodbye 70's' was all about, about how sour the whole thing became."
