Sodium Lyrics
Don't call, don't write
Don't speak my name
Though we've tried this twice
I'm just another face
Even when you're running out of lies
You think we'll get it right this time
Get it right, all right, all right, all right
Run
In another five months
You'll be alone
And you'll drive around this empty town
To the places
To the places we used to go
You gotta get used to going out
And you'll drive around this empty town
To the places
To the places we used to go
By now, by now, I'm sure you've heard
So you called me yesterday
But I had nothin' to say
Message said I'm running out of time
So, so much for the honesty
Because, after all, you know you've won
Run
In another five months
You'll be alone
And you'll drive around this empty town
To the places
To the places we used to go
You gotta get used to going out
And you'll drive around this empty town
To the places
To the places we used to go
I'll write you one more song
Spell it out for you to leave you
Where you're standing now
You're running out of lies
So, so much for the honesty
Because, after all, you know you've won
Run
In another five months
You'll be alone
And you'll drive around this empty town
To the places
To the places we used to go
You gotta get used to going out
And you'll drive around this empty town

By far the best song on the album. I wish the rest of it was more like the two bonus tracks.
at least they make up for one more weekend and the test.
it's crazy to me that this song wasn't included on the album because it's definitely the best. it's so rediculously catchy and a little more edgy. like what i would usually expect from the academy is.
as for the meaning I think this is about a relationship that ended badly and the girl got the last say. and now he's just done with it and trying to move on and she just won't leave him alone. she wants to try it again and he just doesn't get the point especially when she was the one who broke his heart the first time. so he's telling her she's got to just move on, and he's only telling her one more time that he's done, and then he's gone and they won't speak again.
ahh i agree. this is my favorite song in the whole album.
"even when you're running out of liiiiiiiiiiiiiies..."
god i love that ahhaa.

I really love this bonus track. Why this didn't make it to the album is beyond me.
This pretty much explains me and my ex.

I feel like this song would fit in at the end of the album, couldn't possibly explain why it didn't make it. What an awesome song!!!
The whole album is about "high school" and with "Paper Chase" and "One More Weekend" it is obvious the whole theme is about your last summer before going away to college/real life.
This song seems like it could be about knowing that your time dating somebody (who is younger than you) is almost up (b/c most relationships don't last through college).
Idk if that makes any sense, but it's just a jumping off point
