Errands Lyrics

That's it, let's move to New York City
And we won't even say goodbye
We'll find a place where we can start a fight
And feel good to be alive

And so we'll drive across the country
On this endless holiday
You take the shortcut and I'll watch life pass
I can't remember who drove last

Errands, errands
Why don't you think they'd understand?
Errands, errands
Why don't you think for the next trick?

It's gonna be the last mistake you make
And it's going to devastate all them

We're on our way
We're on our way
on our
We're on our way
We're on our way
on our

We're on our way to run more errands
Travelers without a plan
And I've been awake for way too long
I can't remember who I am

Errands, errands
Why don't you think they'd understand?
Errands, errands
Why don't you think for the next trick?

It's gonna be your legacy, ah yeah
And it's going to devastate all them

It's not "And it runs, it runs." It is "Errands."

Yeah. I noticed that listening to Joey's acoustic recording.

I think this song is about parents doing something really fucked up to their child, and the child decides to run away far from any of his family.

This song is about a stimulant abuser that burns every bridge in their home town and in a fit of desperation and confusion up and splits for NYC... The song could be the inner dialogue of a lone tweaker as he is driving from one place to the other, or a couple of tweakers having an actual conversation... Not that the two are any different to a tweaker.
