i love this so much. it's definitely one of my favourites.

This is my favorite off the new album, probably. Along with 'midtown' which is simply beautiful.

It sounds like someone was hearing all these rumours about their lover being unfaithful, but they never believed them until they caught their lover out themselves.

exactly! it's like he just didn't wanna believe his lover could do that to him, like being blind cuz u're inlove. amazing song, the whole new album is.

i personally think this means that he realized that he was in love with someone

its about denial, but how can you deny something right in front of your eyes? great song. their new CD is really good, but this is by far one of the best songs

this song reminds me of santi a bit, and it's the most impressive on the album. i do agree with the denial part, it almost sounds as if the speaker is watching everything almost outside of himself and can't believe it.

I absolutely love this song. It has to be my favourite on the new CD. It seems that a highschool rumour has changed his opinion of a girl he really, really liked. Even though he never believed them until he saw it with his own eyes.

Favorite off the CD, definitely.

This song is absolutely fantastic. It has so much emotion and feel behind the lyrics, and the rhythm really goes. One of my favorites, for sure.

I think it's about a guy who is in love with a girl, but they are just friends (or they don't know each other). He hasn't told her, because he's afraid she doesn't return them or simply because he's happy with just being friends for now.

I think "best intentions" simply means that he really cares about her. He cares for her safety, but the fact he also gets to see her is a big plus.

"I never heard the words that were spoken With the rumored nights With the rendezvous I never thought the whispers were true till now"

People have been talking about her love life. Maybe she's cheating, or she's whoring herself. It just seems like something of a big deal if people are talking about it.

"I've gone too far to turn it back"

Not too sure, but I think he's gone too far of pushing aside his real feelings, not telling them? Hmm..

"Uninvited No one knows How much I care, how bad you are How good we'd be But you won't let me in Goodnight, I'm leaving"

He's never told anyone about his feelings. She won't let him in...I think that line talks about how clueless she is, or how SHE'S the one in denial, maybe. But regardless, she won't let him in. And now he's seen what she's done/doing and he's finally decided to give up and go, probably telling himself that she's not worth it.

Well, that's my take on it! :]
