(You left me with a broken heart,
Now I see we were shooting from the start,
You you left me with nothing but a kiss,
And now I'm leaving you with these lips, with these lips, oh)

Every single time from here
Every single moment from here
But now you are gone
And I'm still here (yeah, check it out)
So check it out (so check it out)
I wrote to tell (I wrote to tell)
In case you ever left yourself
And baby you can't find me (no way)
'Cause I quit (right now)

Oh you left me with a broken heart
And now I see we were shooting from the start
Well you left me with nothing but a kiss
And now I'm leaving you with these lips

(Listen up)
So now I'm pressin'
But I ain't stressing
She's got a man (she's got a man)
I'm with her best friend
I tried it love
But it never really stuck
She said it's love
But it didn't give a fuck

You left me with a broken heart
But now I see we were shooting from the start
You left me with nothing but a kiss
And now I'm leaving you with these lips

And now I'm better 'cause you left me
I just left 'cause you let me
Don't you go and just forget me
Don't you go and just forget

Oh you left me with a broken heart
And you I see were shooting from the start
You left me with nothing but a kiss
And now I'm leaving you with these lips

You left me, you left me, you left me, baby [Repeat x2]

this is probably my favorite song on their new album.

but it starts out with this:

you left me with a broken heart, and now i see you were shooting from the start you left me, with nothing but a kiss and now i'm leaving you with these lips

and the begining is actually this i think:

everything looked fine from here, everything looked more than clear

I think this song is about a guy who's girlfriend is cheating on him but he hasn't left her yet, but then he sees she's not worth it and leaves her.

"and now I'm better cause you left me, I just left cause you let me, don't keep calling, just forget me, don't keep calling just forget."

I think she left him (or got a little distracted), but didn't think about what exactly she was leaving. he got over her, and once she saw how great he was (maybe compared to what she left him for?), she tried to come back to him. but now that he's over her there's no reason for him to let her try to get him back.

I love how it's sorta like a, "you left me, it was great, fuck you very much" :)

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
