And we're falling, faster every second that we waste on
Living in the moment 'til the moment's gone
But what do we got
To lose?
You're...

A liar but I'm hanging on every word
of every late night call, but most of all
And I'm hoping that I'll be
More than just a memory
When the feeling
Fades...

Well I could tell by every word that was on your lips
And the touch of your hand
I know you're spinning me in circles again
No, not again
No, not again
No, not again

And let's take in, everything I had just to stay here
Everything I am says you'll let go
But what've I got
To lose?
I'm hoping for better next time
And it kills me to know what you can't hide
Your will is weak, but his talk is cheap
So I brace myself

Well I could tell by every word that was on your lips
And the touch of your hand
I know you're spinning me in circles again
No, not again
No, not again
No, not again

I can't save this
We were so close
I don't wanna know
I don't wanna know
Ohh

And we're falling, faster every second that we waste on
Living in the moment 'til the moment's gone
But what do we got
To lose?

Well I could tell by every word that was on your lips
And the touch of your hand
I know you're spinning me in circles again
No, not again
No, not again
No, not again

I can't save this
We were so close
I don't wanna know
I don't wanna know
Ohh

I really love this song. I never really listened to Stages and Stereos that much, but I came across this song one day and I really love it.

"We're falling faster every second that we waste on living in the moment 'til the moments gone. But what have we got to lose? You're a liar but I'm hanging on every word of every late night call, but most of all, I'm hoping that I'll be more that just a memory when the feeling fades..."

Basically, the person feels like the relationship is falling, but they really don't have anything to lose so they stay in it anyways, they know the other person is lying, but they just don't care.

"I could tell by every word that was on your lips and the touch of your hand. I know you're spinning me in circles again. No not again..."

Basically the same thing as said above, it seems that the person is being taken advantage of (spinning me in circles again).

"It's taking everything that I have just to stay here. Everything I am says to let go. But what have I got to lose? I'm hoping for better next time. It kills me to know what you can't hide. Your will is weak, but his talk is cheap. So I brace myself."

It is really hard to stay in the relationship when they know they are being lied to and mistreated. They know deep down they should let go, but they aren't strong enough to do it. It really hurts the person to know about the lies they are being told (it kills me to know what you can't hide).

"I could tell by every word that was on your lips and the touch of your hand. I know you're spinning me in circles again. No not again... I can't take this. We were so close. I don't wanna know."

I think it finally got to the point where the relationship was going to end. It is so hard on the person, because they did have a good relationship at some point.

This is such a sad song.

"I could tell by every word that was on your lips and the touch of your hand. I know you're spinning me in circles again. No not again..."

This kind of makes me think that the song is about someone who had a previous relationship with a girl that had ended, and now she is trying to get him back, hence the "no, not again..." As if he isnt going to make the same mistake again.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
