This song is beautiful. It's just so sweet, and nice, and just...ah, I love it :)
And I agree that he's waiting for confirmation. It's obvious that he loves her, so I think he's just waiting for her to say that she feels something more for him too.
Though the lyrics aren't that complex or intelligent, they do make the song great. There is just something about listening to it that makes me smile. Great song considering it's quite simplicty :)

Safetysuit is clearly an amazing band. All of their songs are just so relatable. I love every single one. This is one of my favourites by them, for sure.
I have so many memories connected to this song. So many beautiful memories. Last December I fell in love with my best friend, and it was so fucking amazing finally being with him after loving him quietly for several years. One cold night we were lying on the top of a precariously swaying tower, watching the stars and holding each other close. Then i went away to another country for the Christmas holidays, and spent many freezing nights listening to this song over and over again as I realised how much I missed and loved him. Sadly we've gone our separate ways this spring. These memories keep me alive though, and hearing this song again helps me remember that we'll always be good friends even when we're not together. :)
