I have so many memories connected to this song. So many beautiful memories.
Last December I fell in love with my best friend, and it was so fucking amazing finally being with him after loving him quietly for several years. One cold night we were lying on the top of a precariously swaying tower, watching the stars and holding each other close. Then i went away to another country for the Christmas holidays, and spent many freezing nights listening to this song over and over again as I realised how much I missed and loved him.
Sadly we've gone our separate ways this spring. These memories keep me alive though, and hearing this song again helps me remember that we'll always be good friends even when we're not together. :)
