I really love this song. I'm not sure what it means, probably a break up or something... all I know is that it's good but it has to grow on your first.

I think this song is about the african slave trade

I knew that it wasn't just: "Your hands they know We're nearing the end"

So I listened to the song, and this is what I came up with. it may night be accurate, but it's pretty close:

you oughta lay down low covered in packs of snow

guy: i had a dream last night that we were walking in fright covered up all the years that soon became clear and got all the tears we can cry

girl: with arms below ............keep you warm covered hands they know ......................................

we're nearing the end

The song talks about being "covered in packs of snow", then after that it mentions the hands being covered and warm. It makes me think that although she thinks he should be buried in snow, he should still be warm. It's as if she's mad at him for having to break up and she wants him out of her sight, but she still wants him to be happy.

I think it's about that moment in a relationship when you realize that, although breaking up seems the hardest thing to do, it is the only way you can both be really happy in the end.
