"The content of 'Picture Perfect' is pretty much about this whole ridiculous world we've been thrown into. Everyone thinks you have it made. That phrase 'the grass is always greener on the other side.' It was such a hard process to make this record and that's one of the things that was on my mind. I didn't want people thinking everything was handed to us when we have been working our asses off to make this album. That's what the media wants you to believe. That it's black and white. He's just trying explaining how the world is to someone and in his eyes it's very much the opposite of what the other person thinks. And is kinda lost because through the other person's eyes he's "picture perfect" and he doesn't see himself like that at all by saying "have you seen it through my eyes?" and .. yeah.. I dunno, I think this song's very literal, I dunno if you have to do 'a lot' of thinking for this one.. I like it.. but yeah, kinda disappointed in their new album.. but at the same time I'm enjoying it. I dunno. It's a odd adjustment for me.

i thought this was the last song on the CD i think that this song would be a epic ending her voice so sexy , as it get confusing you want to hear what shes saying but its so hard some realy imortant
I have to agree with TranceRufus, it does seem to be a play on the saying "the grass is always greener." It is basically the pessimist vs the optomist. Anonymous23 had it too, he is basically questioning how someone sees the world as pretty, "greener." He sees all his flaws but the other sees him as "Picture Perfect." Not to get religious, but i could see a a connection. Not big but the whole thing that god can see pas flaws even in this world.

I think the song is about how someone sees him and everything around him as if making up a fake world where everthings perfect but he doesn't live in the same dream with this person. He's trying to tell them that it's not this way. He wants them to come down out of the clouds and listen to him.
