I have to agree with TranceRufus, it does seem to be a play on the saying "the grass is always greener." It is basically the pessimist vs the optomist. Anonymous23 had it too, he is basically questioning how someone sees the world as pretty, "greener." He sees all his flaws but the other sees him as "Picture Perfect." Not to get religious, but i could see a a connection. Not big but the whole thing that god can see pas flaws even in this world.
