Oh, I love, oh, I love, oh, I love what you do to my head
When you pull me upstairs and you push me to bed
I love what you do to my head
It's a mess out there
Oh, I love, oh, I love, oh, I love what you do to my heart
When you push me back down and then pull me apart
I love what you do to my heart
It's the best, oh yeah

Oh, I love, oh, I love, oh, I love what you do to my lips
When you suck me inside and you blow me a kiss
I love what you do to my lips
It's so sweet in there
Oh, I love, love, love, love what you do to my hips
When you blow me outside and then suck me like this
I love what you do to my hips
It's the beat, oh, yeah

You're the only one I cry for
The only one I try to please
You're the only one I sigh for
The only one I die to squeeze
And it gets better every day I play
With you it's such a scream
Yeah, it gets better every day I say
With you it's so extreme
Yeah, it gets wetter every day I stay
With you it's like a dream

Oh, I love, oh, I love, oh, I love what you do to my skin
Please slip me on and slide me in
I love what you do to my skin
It's a passion, oh yeah
Oh, I love, love, love, love what you do to my bones
When you slide me up and take me home
I love what you do to my bones
It's the crush, oh, yeah

You're the only one I cry for
The only one I try to please
You're the only one I sigh for
The only one I die to squeeze
And it gets hazier any way I sway
With you, it's such a scream
Yeah, it gets mazier every play I say
With you, it's so extreme
Yeah, it gets crazier every day I stay
With you it's like a dream

Oh, I love, oh, I love, oh, I love what you do to me

man the more i listen to his recent songs, the more he freaks me out! he sounds like a wild beast. I dont' picture RS being that way though. he seems so honest about his love for his wife. His recent songs freak me out though. he;s on about someone innocent he wants to shock or fuck then he's on about his sexual ways| scarrry!!!

laurelinwyntre, you lyrics are way off. I can't tell all the words, but he definately sing

"when you blow me outside, and then suck me like this"

You can tell because he uses "suck" and "blow" in the previous verse alternately. It plays into the structure of the song. And Robert's a pervert ;)

While I like the darker songs best, I like their happy poppy songs too, This is a perfect pop song, definitely better than anything on their last album IMO. Along with NY Trip it sounds like The Cure got their groove back.

I absolutely love this song. A pretty pervy song, but I really love it. I fell in love with it right away actually. I just spent hours on end listening to this on repeat. I was just so thrilled they'd put out something new. And yeah, me and my friend have been listening to this song all summer and it's just kicks serious ass, and it just... yeah I dunno I just love it xD

Robert will be turning 50 this year, which means he is months away from being officially declared an OOOLD GUY. And EVERYBODY knows it's gross for those Dirty, Old Men to sing about their sex lives. So poor Robert has to get it all out before these lyrics become SOCIALLY UNACCEPTABLE. :X

oh i love this song. the cure has 2 main auras:

    • the dark and existencialist and
    • the dreamy lollipop

and they can perform both vibes beautifully. this song reminds me of in between days, and lovecats, and just like heaven, the caterpillar... those kinds of songs you can dance and sing and cry to. it IS ver the cure-ish that's the versatility of the cure.

I've been a Cure fan since 1992.... I love their music.... but I was disappointed with their last album. The music was tote rubbish for me. Since around 2004, Robert Smith started looking fugly! He used to be shy and kind of cute, but now looks like he's up to himself.

    My Opinion

Only Robert Smith can get away with these lyrics at any age. Oh I love, oh I love, oh I love what he does to me!!!

Like a lot of the other comments are saying, I think this mainly about voyeurism. If the song was about his girlfriend, then why would he use the word spy. If you are a spy it means you shouldn't be caught, that is kind of the whole point, and if you are a voyeur, the whole point of the pleasure you get from it, is the fact that the other people don't know you are watching them. See a bit of a connection there?

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.
