I love this song, I can relate to it so much. Because it could be about a long distance relationship, missing the other person, wishing you could be together. Just like how I feel, waiting for the moment you can be together.
absolutely beautiful song! dont know what it means for sure but i feel like it could definitely be about a soldier at war with a wife back home waiting patiently for him to return and that is what gets him through!
most of you guys are talking about the military..my boyfriend is currently finishing the last couple months of his prison sentence and he wrote the lyrics in one of his letters to me..now whenever he gets the chance to call he sings parts of it to me..
tyler connelly, thank you. i am currently deployed in iraq with my wife at home, waiting patiently for my return. the first time i heard this song i was in a webcam chat with my wife, and i broke into tears because this song says EVERYTHING i feel. i know how it feels to be "counting the days one by one" so i can definitely relate to this. thank you.

I absolutely LOVE this song. My boyfriend is in the Navy and I mailed him the lyrics to the song. He says everytime he reads it he can't help but cry....neither can I. I miss him so much.

I dont have a significant other in the military, but i do have a lot of friends who are, and i can understand where this song comes from. one of my best friends in the whole world is being deployed to kuwait in a few months, and when i hear this song i think about how he will feel being away from his wife, and his family. it just makes me vision soldiers being away from their loved ones, and then i realize how much we owe those who protect us and how proud i am to say that some of my friends and family are in the military. this is a beautiful song, and God bless the troops

My best friend whom I love wholeheartedly deploys for the second and last time since I've been with him. He leaves in two weeks for Afghanistan and returns home in four months. The past week has been extremely hard for me, possibly the hardest times I've ever been through. I heard this song tonight and reminded me so much of him. I'm going to miss everything about him and him not being here. This song now plays over and over again cause it eases my mind. Just to know he's over there fighting for us and protecting us makes me that much more grateful. I can relate to many Theory of a Deadman songs. I pray Nick is safe and has a safe return home come December. Xoxo troops!
I heard this song on the radio yesterday when I was trying on clothes at a store. It's another one of those perfect songs that reminds me of him and him being deployed for six more months. I can't wait.
