I dont have a significant other in the military, but i do have a lot of friends who are, and i can understand where this song comes from. one of my best friends in the whole world is being deployed to kuwait in a few months, and when i hear this song i think about how he will feel being away from his wife, and his family. it just makes me vision soldiers being away from their loved ones, and then i realize how much we owe those who protect us and how proud i am to say that some of my friends and family are in the military. this is a beautiful song, and God bless the troops
