Que je n'trouve plus de sens
A ce jeu excitant
Si bon mais si lassant
Tu aimes me manipuler
Et j'aime en faire autant
Nous sommes tout deux victime
De ce doux jeu d'amants
Il suffit que je t'ignore
Pour que tu revienne en pleure
Je m'occupe de toi
Tu repars c'est ça
Toujours le même schéma
Et j'anticipe a chaques foi
Que je n'trouve plus de sens
A ce jeu excitant
Si bon mais si lassant
Tu aimes me manipuler
Tu aimes me manipuler
Tu aimes me manipuler
Et j'aime en faire autant
Nous sommes tout deux victime
De ce doux jeu d'amants

This kinda seems like a French version of Lady Gaga's "Lovegame"...except this one debuted in 2007 (Lady Gaga's album was in 2008)...I like this one better
here's a translation I got out of it
Refrain: Crazy and so obvious that I don't find sense In this exciting game So good but so tiring You like to manipulate me I like to do the same We're two victims In this sweet love game
I'd make the effort, I know you by heart I just have to ignore you For you to come back crying I'm with you, You leave again, that's that Always the same pattern And I look forward to every hope (it might actually be chaque fois, which is "every time" instead of foi, which is "faith")
Refrain: Crazy and so obvious that I don't find sense In this exciting game So good but so tiring You like to manipulate me I like to do the same We're two victims In this sweet love game
Passion, emotion And corrections to equations I shake the solution But I still have the same feeling It's so obvious That I don't find much sense In this love game So good and tiring
x2 I don't want a flawless love Too perfect, you do not interest me Crazy for you especially when you go Crazy for me, from this step I'm going there (this line I'm not too sure about)
Refrain: Crazy and so obvious that I don't find sense In this exciting game So good but so tiring You like to manipulate me I like to do the same We're two victims In this sweet love game
I lose myself sometimes It's often well done And you hide your joy Because you've got me Like nice and stupid prey Who does not learn lessons From a rough and easy trap Of a charming boy
But it's really too easy As soon as you smile you fascinate me Like a magnet on a wire Tense and clever (if "abile" is supposed to be "habile") But it's really too easy It's my fruit that fascinates you ("Pomme" literally means "apple", either she means this in a sexual way or it's is a reference to being the "apple of someone's eye) I turn my back to leave You know that it's not acidic (hurtful)
Refrain: Crazy and so obvious that I don't find sense In this exciting game So good but so tiring You like to manipulate me I like to do the same We're two victims In this sweet love game
The lyrics are pretty straightforward - probably more so in French, but the two people drive each other nuts and are happy in that sense, that there's an exciting game to always look forward to.
Thank YOu!!!
Thank YOu!!!

It is about a game
Ce Jeu meaning This Game
and i think it could be a song about a manipulative lover? but how she likes it. Kinky non?
You're right, its about the 'game' her lover plays with her (he is manipulative). it hurts her, but she kind of likes that (she doesnt want a 'perfect' relationship because it would be boring).

i am so glad i discovered this song and Yelle. absolutely amazing.

funkyfishfingers is right in that the title means "this game." It's basically about two people(presumably Yelle and some guy) flirting with each other.

I interpreted this song as a song merely about how a majority of relationships work these days, and how the mess and chaos is what makes the relationship so thrilling, but yet can grow tiresome.
After being with him for a while, she knew that ignoring him would get him to come to her, crying for her attention. And at the same time, he's got her spellbound by his little 'traps' that are so easy for her to fall for.
She (like a majority of people, including myself), doesn't want a relationship to be perfect; she doesn't want everything to add up to some kind of perfect equation. She loves this 'game' that they play with each other, but even too much mess becomes more tiresome than fun.
Also, she turns around and says during the 'break', "I turn my back to leave. You know that I won't hurt you.", that's such a perfect way to put how we may feel in relationships; we get driven to the point to leave, or we deliberately make it seem like we want to leave so that way there's a little more of a mess, but in the end, there is no malice intended towards the love-interest.

This is a wonderful song! Even though I had NO idea what she was singing about (until now); I've always enjoyed it. Makes me happiiiii 0_o

what?! no comments? a shame... anyways, i haven't the foggiest as to what this means, but it's fun to listen to. it's my favorite by her.
