If you look at the EP cover btw, you can see "The Jester Race" in the background... They've moved on from that.. They've enjoyed it, but they have grown into something bigger! Something more!

I think this song is about how we can't live in the past (dwelling on regrets of yesterday), if the world as a whole is to move forward we have to focus our energies on the present.

This song is OBVIOUSLY about uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite.

I think these lyrics are almost correct...I'm not too sure on the second verse though, can't really make out what he's saying. Corrections are appreciated! Anyway it's a great song, and again I think the meaning is about how the past can't be changed and is gone...maybe about regrets or perhaps moving on to the future.

dont think this album is going to be that great. but better then C.C. i think. i wish they would make stuff like the old in flames :'(

I can't help but get the feeling this song is about people who whine about the evolution of In Flames... Read the lyrics, it makes perfect sense.

And I mean look at the whole EP... The cover for instance; study it a little and I think you'll see how this single might be about In Flames' current relationship with their past

I'd say this is about how you all whiny "true fans" of IF make them feel like they're villains for creating music for themselves, not to your personal tastes.

You may have a poitn there Lancerone, the whole EP seems to be about forgetting the past and moving on etc. And also it does seem like with this album In Flames have found their own sound...it just seems more defined and complete somehow. It's very different from their old stuff and its not going to the same but if you ask me it's just as good!

Don't get me wrong, those albums are both great, but We, as their fans, need to support them! If everything they wrote sounded the same, would you really be their fans?

If we don't evolve and further what we have become, we'll be stuck in a rut, doing the same god damn, mindless nonsense everyday!

That's what "The Mirror's Truth" is about, It's about breaking away from the past, the routines, and the watchful eyes of others!

"You're Waiting for a Re-run, but yesterday won't come" Move on, They're not going to revert to what they used to be, Accept it! They need to play music for themselves, and those of us who enjoy it, and have liked them since "The Lunar Strain" and continue to do so, up until this point... We are the true fans of In Flames, Because just like the band, who are people too, We can move on, and evolve!

I think it has to do with religion. The:

means and that no one really knows for sure what is going to happen when we die or what the meaning of life is, no one can walk the earth and think that they are wrong about what they believe is a fundamentalist. The meaning of the text is that we should think about what we do, is it really ok to do the things we do? Is it ok to say that the lord wants war?

This is the main massage imo, the easy way is a religion. Should you join a religion to find the answers to all problems that is bugging you? the yesterday lines could be about: a) This era shouldn't be about religion, since science has given answer to most question that religion previously tried to answer we should abandon it, that is what the lines about a past time refers to. b) Living by the bible is a waste of time, who do really know that it is the right religion, all the days you spend living by the bible will never come again, so live like every day will be your last.
