To me this song is a message to all people who give up when life gets a bit hard and end up wallowing in their sadness and not doing anything with their life.

The verses are the people complaining about their life and then you get the reply 'Is this really what you want?'. The lyrics 'Can't you turn them words around?' is also quite poignant in the first verse.

The chorus then lifts it back up with 'The world is in your hands, The world is in your hands, The world belongs to those of us who still believe we can And it matters what you do. When they all look down on you 'Cause it's better that you've come from nothing than nothing comes from you.

These are simply awesome lyrics because we all need a bit of a kick up the backside from time to time and this song does this perfectly. I always feel very positive after hearing this song.

Combined with an upbeat, positive, and quite frankly great piece of music i have to say i love this new song by The Feeling.

I love this song so much,the Feeling are awesome and isn't this song used for that car advert? I hate it when decent songs are used by companies in order to promote their stuff. It's kinda demeaning to the bands who put the songs out as though they cannot do well without publicity, although I suppose the bands must allow the companies to use their songs in the first place but there was an advert that used a song by Muse, not mentioning any names or anything but they hadn't asked permission!!!! AND ITS SOOOOOO ANNOYING!!!! Love Muse and The Feeling obviously =) xx

i specially like the build up at the end, i felt some of their earlier stuff got a little repetitive towards the end but this builds to a great climax, just love it

I think this song is The Feeling's ultimate be-happy revolutionary statement: Quit your stressed and pessimistic life, listen to some Feeling, spread some love, and live out your dreams with us! Obviously, I can't help thinking that this could also be a call out to the gay people, who hasn't come out of the closet yet, to just do so!

isn't it about the new age thing? things like "the secret" and all? well even though they are singing this song (the world is in your hand!) the strange thing is they haven't got the world in their hand. i've never saw them anywhere except one time in a tv show. i like the song though. after hearing it over and over again for idk, 100th time i'll get enough of my life and said alright, alright, i'm changing my life!
