This song is really dark and daring and I love it. The way I see it, he's telling her that no matter what sort of baggage she brings, he's not going to leave her.
It would mean more if the lyrics were right. Try substituting "torrential eyes" (as in crying) for "to wrench your eyes" which sounds awfully painful! Lots of errors in the lyrics from this album submitted by this member.
