We'll Be Okay Lyrics
The night is long over,
but we're all still wide awake.
Huddled together,
just oping this moment won't fade away.
The sunlight makes it's way up the field toward us again
marking the end of this.
Because everyone's going their separate ways,
sometimes things just change.
But we'll never forget who we were that day,
so don't be afraid,
'cause we'll be okay.
Carved out our love
and we all broke our hearts together.
These are the times that define who we are forever.
It's hard to leave
you're just memories that I'm thinking of
that mark the end of this.
Because everyone's going their separate ways,
sometimes things just change.
But we'll never forget who we were that day,
so don't be afraid,
'cause we'll be okay.
And sometimes it's hard when everything changes.
Sometimes it feels like the world is unfolding.
This is when the impossible becomes possible.
It's hard to leave,
you're just memories that I'm thinking of
that mark the end of this.
Because everyone's going their separate ways,
sometimes things just change.
But we'll never forget who we were that day,
so don't be afraid,
'cause we'll be okay.
So unafraid, we hadn't lived.
We'll be okay.
Without a care in the whole world.
We'll be okay.
but we're all still wide awake.
Huddled together,
just oping this moment won't fade away.
The sunlight makes it's way up the field toward us again
marking the end of this.
sometimes things just change.
But we'll never forget who we were that day,
so don't be afraid,
'cause we'll be okay.
and we all broke our hearts together.
These are the times that define who we are forever.
It's hard to leave
you're just memories that I'm thinking of
that mark the end of this.
sometimes things just change.
But we'll never forget who we were that day,
so don't be afraid,
'cause we'll be okay.
Sometimes it feels like the world is unfolding.
This is when the impossible becomes possible.
you're just memories that I'm thinking of
that mark the end of this.
sometimes things just change.
But we'll never forget who we were that day,
so don't be afraid,
'cause we'll be okay.
We'll be okay.
Without a care in the whole world.
We'll be okay.

For those of you who don't know, this is a song that is on a B-side album. It's absolutely amazing and means a lot to me specifically because me and all my best friends went to different colleges and I miss them a lot.
thank you very much=] havent heard the song yet but will do soon=] xxx
I want this song to be played at when I grad...
dude what b-side album is this on?? Cause I haven't heard this song by madina lake
I don't remember exactly. I got it on a fan-site forum, but I first heard it on YouTube. I'm currently trying to find which album it originated on
1st verse=The people(i assume friends) are huddled together, hoping that the morning wont come(when it does they have to leave each other)But inevitably the sun is coming up,and ending not only that day but also whatever relationship they had.
Chorus= the friends are going seperate ways, things are changing, and maybe they themselves are, but they can remember their relationship and possibly even continue it-it may just be different.eg long distance.
2nd verse-refers to love-something that friends typically help each other through.Someones heart breaks, everyone pulls together and is there for them.Or the heart breaking could just be referring to them going their seperate ways and all being hurt by it.."These are the times that define..."-how they handle this will decide if they can keep in touch, stay the best of friends or whatever,as well as the people they will be(after all life is full of change and choices.).Its hard to leave, but they have to to grow up.
"And sometimes it's hard when everything changes. Sometimes it feels like the world is unfolding. This is when the impossible becomes possible." You feel at the time that you wont be able to go on without the person-but you somehow cope-its possible.
"So unafraid, we hadn't lived. We'll be okay. Without a care in the whole world. We'll be okay" They were so young, couldnt predict the trouble and pain of the future. But they have now been through so much together,he can now confidently say "we'll be okay" Just my interpretation.and I agree,it WOULD be a beautiful graduation song.
Incidentally, does anyone know if this is part of the adalia story?
yeah I'm pretty certain it's got something to do with Adalia, what it exactly means to it I'm not sure yet, but I'm working on it.
I dont know whether you've read the auspice yet,but the day after adalia disapears, all of the suspects are gone too..so i was thinking perhaps she wasnt taken or killed, but that the suspects are working together to help her escape?and so this is them, planning and working together etc..maybe theyre saying goodbye to her.or maybe shes saying goodbye to them.OR maybe theyre all saying goodbye to madina lake!lol
yeah I've read it a few times, lol. but I don't really know if Pandora and the rest of the suspects would want to help her escape just because she is really the source of their popularity, you know what I mean? I see this as more of a reminiscent song
nut what about..umm..jonathon was it?The shcool teacher?what in the hell was he up to? I'm sorry I'm just overly eager to work this all out.
