Let me first say, I don't know much about Xiu Xiu. I like the band's music a lot though. When I first say the title of this song, I took it to be a reverse of the common acronym "WTF?" to mean, "Fuck The What." It makes sense, since Xiu Xiu/Jamie Stewart is such a strange kind of thinker. As for song meaning: Shit, who knows. All I know is the video created by the band contains references to homosexuality, book covers (including Celine's "Journey to the End of Night") and an odd flipping through books about birds and Darwinian classification. I won't try to dissect all the glory out this song's lyrics -- just make of it what you will.
