This is a GREAT song. It's just about wanting to change and move forward from a point of being unhappy with your life. I can really, really relate, and it just makes the song hitting home that much harder.

this song reminds me of leaving a relationship that really wasn't what it should have been, and moving on to something better. right now that's where i'm at, and i can totally relate. such a great song, by a great band, i can't believe it doesn't have more comments!
Now wether or not this is what the song is actually about, it makes me think of over comming a drug addiction. It talks bout not lookin back but feelin alive because of the change and how he cant believe he was okay with wastin time and days. the chorus sounds like im never goin back to okay because now i have to deal (they will be stronger and more than just okay) Im never goin back to easy because drugs are an easy escape (except the quittin part)Now this song obviously is about change, and knowin the band its obviously not about drugs. Thats just how i could see a relation there.

um, I think you used the wrong complacent. It should be Complaisant. has a different meaning.
