Now wether or not this is what the song is actually about, it makes me think of over comming a drug addiction. It talks bout not lookin back but feelin alive because of the change and how he cant believe he was okay with wastin time and days. the chorus sounds like im never goin back to okay because now i have to deal (they will be stronger and more than just okay) Im never goin back to easy because drugs are an easy escape (except the quittin part)Now this song obviously is about change, and knowin the band its obviously not about drugs.
