[AJ:]
The first night that we met
I will never forget
Baby, you were a star
From that point in time
It was always you and I shining
So beautiful
When we're out with your friends
You treat me like I'm dead
It was like I'm invisible

[Nick:]
(I can't let it go)
That was unforgettable
(I can't let it go)
I just wanna let you know
(I can't let it go)
Situations unlivable
(I can't let it go)
I can't let it go
(I can't let it go)

[Chorus:]
Tell me what you say that you want me
All you ever do girl is push all my buttons
You always bring me down in public
When nobody's around you say that you love me
Make me say oh no
I see you all alone
I'm halfway out the door
Unless you turn around
And you treat me right

[Brian:]
Oh, you got me twisted
Oh, you got me twisted
I'm not someone you can just disrespect
How would you feel if you were in my shoes
Feelin' used with your heart bruised

[Nick:]
(I can't let it go)
The situations critical
(I can't let it go)
Relationship is pitiful
(I can't let it go)
Everything's falling apart
(I can't let it go)
Cause you're so hypocritical

[Repeat Chorus]

[All:]
You're just no good for me
You're no good for me
You're just no good for me
I know you're no good for me

[Howie:]
You know
It's wrong to treat me cold
I've no one to hold
One day I'm gonna say goodbye
What's it gonna be
Girl I'm gonna leave
Unless you turn around
And treat me right

[Repeat Chorus]

[Howie:]
Just treat me right
Just treat me right

[Brian:]
Say that you want me

[Howie:]
Just treat me right
Just treat me right

[Repeat Chorus]

i can't believe no-one has commented on this. When this song first started out... i was thinking "WTF"!!! lol.. but i actually listened to the lyrics and the upbeat tune got me really involved. to me, this song is a story about a guy who feels that his girlfriend/lover or whatever they're called only treats him right when they're alone. Whenever her friends are around she'll ignore him and pretend he's not there. He doesn't want to end it incase she does decide to treat him right. This is great song and means a lot to me as an ex had this problem.. but this site isn;t about me.. its about the meaning of songs so i wont go further! LOL!! awesome song!!

I LOVE this song. Although I adore all of their songs I cant understand why they insist on releasing slow power ballads when they have awesome songs like this on their album. Perhaps they are so rich they just dont care bout charting anymore but Im positive that this one would put them back on the map. Just like "My Beautiful Woman" would have off the last album.

I love BSB, been to see them both times they've been to Aus and I will like them no matter how long they stay uncool. But the needy little girl inside me kinda wants to be validated by having them cool again. And "Treat me Right" would do it! It'd be pumping in the clubs 2 seconds after they released it.

Anyway, killer song, although some people get a little overwhelmed by the layering in the bridge.

I adore this song! It is such a good song and I love the rhythm and the words! When this album came out, I ran and got it from the store that day! This is probably my favorite song on this CD. Me and my sister and even my little brother who isn't fond of the BSB actually listens to it and sings along! I love the BSB!

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
