was a disaster sitting in bed at five
won't betray me within a lowman's eye
wasn't the sex, wasn't the wives
never fully go up the side

with disbelief that the kid was right
the man digs stopped four-hundred fights
with pick-me-ups and flawless lies
broke through the lines and tried the crack

wasn't the plastic in the house that quit
that treat the maid, everybody's sick
the woman sticks in a heart of gold
everything is a little bit sore

wasn't the discipline kid who melts
the wife who told you what you thought

but you and i can live inside this wall without like this

everybody's waiting for the return kids
and put it in your head
put it in your head
sex and our wills will stay our lips
now put it in your head
put it in your head

wasn't the demon in the lip-cracked skin
double times inside the wind
wasn't the leak of every man in law
the idea that it's the death of fall

now they can tick you off and make a little laugh
but put it in your head
put it in your head
see the shotguns that look like time
put it in your head
put it in your head

wasn't the miles in the world of puke
i could kill you if it looked like you
you never believed, never could fight
how do i know if the words are right

wasn't the teacher that got a call
the deejay still seems to swallow
a bottle of come and a bottle of skin
miles above the wall everywhere

spoken sex and all i fear
everyone does what they fear

but you and i can live inside this wall without like this

frightening lives
you and me
frightening live
above the sand
frightening lives
all will weep
frightening lives
desperate scene

Correct lyrics (FROM THE BOOKLET): Wasn't disasters in a better find, the won't betray within a lonely dial wasn't the sex, wasn't the wise, metaphorical upward slide where the dizzy believe that the good was right, the mandate to stop 400 fights, with the pick me up and the throttled lies broke through the lines and tried to cry wasn't the plastic in the house that quit the truth that made everybody sick, with the woman mistakes and the heart of gold, everything is a little bit sold, wasn't the disciplined kid that melts, the white that told you what you felt, but you know I can't live inside this war without our bed

Everybody's waiting for the return kid put in your head, put it in your head sectioned out wills with state line lips put in your head, put it in your head wasn't the tv with the lip cracked skin, double ties inside the win, wasn't the leak in every man of law, the idea that it's the death at fault now they can take you out and try to make a little life put it in your head, put it in your head see the shotguns that look like time put it in your head, put it in your head wasn't the modern in the world of puke, the I could kill you if I looked like you if you never believe you'll never be found the idea that our lives are round

Wasn't the nature within the call, the DJ that still seems too small, with the battle of cum and the battle of skin, the miles of love that won't ever win like spoken sex and all our fear, everyone does what the feel, but you know I can't live inside this war without our bed

Frightening lives for you and me, frightening lives we'll burn the sea, frightening lives all will leave, frightening lives our deaths will sing.

Not sure where this song actually belongs as it's also listed under BSS. I'll throw this here too anyways, I think it's a little more accurate.

Wars and disasters in the bed I find That won't betray, within the lonely die It wars in the sex, wars in the wise Metaphorical upward slide

Or the dizzy belief that the good was right The mandate to stop four-hundred fights With the pick-me-ups and the throttle lies Broke through the lines and tried to cry

Wars in the plastic in the house that quit The truth that made everybody sick That a woman mistakes in a heart of gold Everything is a little bit sold and The wars in the disciplined kid who melts The wife who told you, what you felt

But you know I can't live inside this war without our bed.

Everybody's waiting for the returned kids that Put it in your head Put it in your head Suctioned our wills with stained-lime lips now Put it in your head Put it in your head

Wars in the team you're in the lip-cracked skin Double-time it's inside of the win Wars in the weak in every man along The idea that it's death to fall down

They can take you up and try to make a little life but Put it in your head Put it in your head See the shotguns are looped like time and Put it in your head Put it in your head

Wars in the margarine in a world of puke That I could kill you, if I look like you If you never believed, never would find An idea that our lives are round

The wars in the lips you elevate in a call The DJ that still seems too small Or the battle of cum and a battle of skin The miles of love that won't ever win Like spoken sex and all I fear Everyone does what they fear

But you know I can't live inside this war without our bed.

Frightening lives For you and me Frightening lives Above the sea Frightening lives All will lead Frightening lives Desperate scenes

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
