Soon We'll Be Found Lyrics
Come along it is the break of day
Surely now, you'll have some things to say
It's not the time for telling tales on me
So come along, it wont be long
'Til we return happy
Shut your eyes, there are no lies
In this world we call sleep
Let's desert this day of hurt
Tomorrow we'll be free
Let's not fight I'm tired can't we just sleep tonight
don't turn away it's just there's nothing left here to say
Turn around I know we're lost but soon we'll be found
Well it's been rough but we'll be just fine
Work it out yeah we'll survive
You mustn't let a few bad times dictate
So come along, it wont be long
'Til we return happy
Shut your eyes, there are no lies
In this world we call sleep
Let's desert this day of work
Tomorrow we'll be free
Let's not fight I'm tired can't we just sleep tonight
don't turn away it's just there's nothing left here to say
Turn around I know we're lost but soon we'll be found
Surely now, you'll have some things to say
It's not the time for telling tales on me
'Til we return happy
Shut your eyes, there are no lies
In this world we call sleep
Let's desert this day of hurt
Tomorrow we'll be free
don't turn away it's just there's nothing left here to say
Turn around I know we're lost but soon we'll be found
Work it out yeah we'll survive
You mustn't let a few bad times dictate
'Til we return happy
Shut your eyes, there are no lies
In this world we call sleep
Let's desert this day of work
Tomorrow we'll be free
don't turn away it's just there's nothing left here to say
Turn around I know we're lost but soon we'll be found

it sounds like the fight you have that goes so late, you're tired and you don't want to keep fighting, you just want to sleep on it, maybe it'll magically be better the next day. but they always say not to go to bed angry...
I can definitely feel the exhaustion in this song. They're both tired from a long, drawn out fight. There's nothing left to be done but sleep. It definitely has hope that in the morning after a long rest, they're able to move on, or at least talk about the issues that had them fighting in the first place..
i love this song her voice is amazing and the melody is captivating
This song is about a couple who's had lots of fights and they are just getting si exhauasted from it and she wants to sleep with him beside him and she knows or hopes that they'llbe okay
i love this song because it is about being hopeful and committed to a dying relationship. i can relate to the late night fighting and exhaustion, and the desire to just rest and then allow yourself to hope that a new day will allow a fresh start. she starts off the song so clear and hopeful, then the words become more pained, more like begging.
My interpretation is that this song is her ongoing depressing fight with her life. "Shut your eyes, there are no lies In this world we call sleep" Shows thoughts about going to an endless sleep(death), were the truth isn't hidden and it is all good. "Let's desert this day of hurt Tomorrow we'll be free" She is saying to stop an endless pain(by ending her life), and that after ending her life she would not have to deal with the struggle of life. This kinda ties into this: "So come along, it wont be long 'Til we return happy" After the ending her life of sadness, she will be forever happy. And last note: "Let's not fight I'm tired can't we just sleep tonight" Is saying lets not fight anymore to stay alive, i am tired of this charade cant we just go into an endless sleep(death) So, ya. That was my interpretation. Peace

This song is simply amazing. It's right up there with Breath Me. Definitely my favorite song on her new album.
Definitely one of my favs by Sia.
It's those nights where tempers have flared the fight has been fought, noone has won, noone will win. It's exhausting, each to their own please, it's so, so painfully tiring, can't we just sleep and the morning will rescue us from the hell of this fight and these feeelings.
Things are always better in the morning.
