I have no idea what this song's about but I do know that it's absolutely beautiful and that the lyrics are some of the very best of the new record.
I think the meaning's kind of obvious. It's about a guy dating this girl that he thinks is totally out of his league, so as long as she stays with him, he doesn't care what they do, or what he has to give her. Sadly, he always says that he doesn't deserve her, even when he is truly in love with her and needs her.
