Actually 742617000027 is the "bar code" for there very first album "Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat". When a voice is saying " The whole thing I think is sick" was a sample taken from a Charels Manson interview. The reason I think they put this track in, is basicly just to freak people out and make the listener think its some kind of "Sublimal Message". And oddly enough, the folowing track after 742617000027 is (Sic), funny..... Maybe it has somthing to do with "The whole thing I think is (Sic)? PS. Dont whant to be an ass and correct you 4iedcraven but Corey isent the one saying that. PPS. Hope I helped you Maggots out! Late!
yeh its the numbers on their outfits
UPC number on the back of their album
Haven't heard this yet, but bands that add in strange short clips to usually leave a lot more than that short sound clip to think about.
I gotta go find this now...
As 742617000027 put it, the numbers are the barcode on the back of MFKR. This song was used as their live intro during the period they toured for the self-titled album. The band’s use of the “The whole thing I think is sick” sample has predated Corey Taylor’s joining of the band, being used in Slipknot (the earliest rendition of sic). This song being used as the live intro also predates the release of the album, as they first used it at their First Avenue concert (May 3rd, 1999).
i haven't gotten the opportunity (or the money) to buy the album this song is on, but i'd like to hear it.
how do they remember them numbers?
isn't that the numbers on their barcodes...i think
actualy its not there numbers 742617000027 is the barcode number for mate/feed/kill/repeat and corey saying "the whole thing i think is sick" is pretty self explanitory i thought it was there numbers too but its missing 8 3 and 5 if your hardcore into slipknot and your lookin for some dead right song meanings go to: www.black-goat.com
Wrong, 4iedcraven. It's not Corey saying it, it came from a scene in a Charles Manson documentary.
