This song is about David Berkowitz who was a serial killer in the 70's, born in Brooklyn, New York. He reffered to himself as the "Son of Sam"

Name-wise 'Berkowitz' is the "serial killer" part of "Daisy Berkowitz's" name.

I don't think it's similar to Iron Man. It's definetly about David Berkowitz.

He was actually called the ".44 Killer" by police because of the weapon he used, but then he started leaving notes at the crime scenes, refering to himself as the "Son of Sam".

David Berkowitz. Daisy Berkowitz is the Scott Putesky's stage name lol I had no idea that ".44 calibur" or "Son of Sam" bit had anything to do with David Berkowitz. I thought this song was talking about a young boy going threw tough times in life that had became an eager Satanist "dogs (or gods) and demons gave him will" wanted revenge on the world that frowned upon him as he stared at them with wanting of something from them but not recieving it....which shaped into hate and payback for whatever reasons. This song also reminded me of school shooting..such as columbine.

another way to look at "dogs and demons gave him will" is....the dogs and demons could have been the people that hurt this person, which left him full of anger and a yearning for vengeance.
