I think this song is about Kurt Cobain. The sound has clear inspirations from Nirvana, has a Grunge feel to it, and the lyrics seem to be what could have be Kurt's relationship with Courtney. The "You fucked me up in the head" is the part where he was shot in the head, "And now you're hero is dead", is how Kurt died and "Generation X" was left without him. Fred and Courtney hate each other, At Edgefest 20, She talked shit about him 7 hours before he was even going to come on. I think that Fred thinks that Kurt was murdered. (And I do too XD).
