This song does sound alot like he's singing about an addiction, but I don't think its the type that you guys are thinking about. If you listen to the song with the correct lyrics that i posted above, it sounds more like the "thrill" he's after has more to do with the roar of the crowd than the rush of a narcotic. He's saying that after all of his ups and downs throughout his career, even he is surprised that he's still relevant in today's music scene (I can't believe I'm still here, I know I should be dead, yeah, This desperation makes me feel so filthy, But I know if I don't stop I won't feel guilty). The thrill he's so desperate for is being on stage performing for his fans, and he knows that if he never stops then he will never have a reason to be upset with himself.

The chorus is him describing the ecstasy of performing in front of thousands, the roar of the crowd and how it keeps him going, and even how surreal it feels for him. If you are a true Ozzy fan, then take your time, listen to his songs, and think outside the box.

I disagree. I am an Ozzy fan, have been for roughly 30 years. I am also an alcoholic and drug addict in Recovery. He's talking about the drugs, man. And the high, and then, the downer. If you were in recovery, it'd be obvious to you too. Although I do agree he gets almost the same thrill out of being on the stage, in the spotlight, nothing compares to the mind-altering fuck that addiction brings. The good and the bad. The line "I know if I don't stop I won't feel guilty" refers to the feeling we get coming down off of a relapse, or rather, the need to stay high so we don't come down and feel that.
