its about him being out to sea, and missing his 'loved' ones, who turned on him. his brother sleeping with his wife. that sort of thing. being betrayed while he's out sailing.

liesarelies I agree with all but the last point. The trip the captain had called him on was scheduled to be 3 years long. He could have told her that she had killed him, but he decided not to. He just kissed her on the cheek and told his kids he'd be back. So she wouldn't know for three more years.
