The Red Carpet Grave Lyrics

They call her
Bulldozer speech demon
Without distractions of hope
She makes the depression business
Look surprisingly novel
And she’s not just royal
Allegedly loyal
Not unfaithful but she has no faith in me
Inhale the damage smoothly
Paradise isn’t lost
It was hiding all along

There’s the ones that you love
The ones that love you
The ones that make you come
The ones that make you come unglued
I can’t turn my back on you
When you are walking away

Bottomless celebrity scar
Staged circuses for empty schoolgirls
Us boys are all dressed up like
A mediocre suicide omen

Here comes the red carpet grave
Again and again and again
Oh man

There’s the ones that you love
The ones that love you
The ones that make you come
The ones that make you come unglued
I can’t turn my back on you
When you are walking away

It’s easy to beat the system
Had a hard time beating the symptoms

I can’t turn my back on you
When you are walking away
I can’t turn my back on you
When you are walking away
Here comes the red carpet grave
Again and again and again
Here comes the red carpet grave
Again and again and again
Oh man

To come unglued means to get all emotionally unstable and crazy, so I'm guessing the line is referring to people that make you lose control of yourself.

"Not unfaithful but she has no faith in me"- Definately about Dita. She has said the she didn't support him in some of his activities. I think he feels she betrayed him.

Yeah, this one is definitely about Dita. I guess this is his plea as to why he went with Evan Rachel Wood. It's crazy considering how long him and Dita were together before they got married, then they couldn't even last a year with the title.

And sorry for the second post, but this is such a great song. One of my favorites off of Eat Me, Drink Me.

Definitely about an ex of some sort. In Manson's case, it's probably Dita.
