The Sinister Awakening Lyrics

I sense the darkness
The desire overtakes
My devotion endeavours
Habitation changing course

Repentance oh not
No shame or remorse
Will I ever authorize
On this treasured path

I am warm by this fire
And it's flaming desire
For what I cannot fulfil
My destiny completes

I believe my truth to be
A much greater thing
Than a manufactured lie
Too great to comprehend

Where I come from
There's no higher authority but me
Being my own god
Is all I was meant to be

Great song! Especially the "Antikristus" part. This song sounds like it was written by LaVeyan satanists. Maybe that is the case. "I believe my truth to be A much greater thing Than a manufactured lie Too great to comprehend "

Is probably about that you don't angree with christianity, and that many people don't understand "his" views.

"Where I come from There's no higher authority but me Being my own god Is all I was meant to be"

This is absolutely LaVeyan. Being your own God!

This song has an impressive guitar accompaniment. Probably the best song on the album. This is about the God in the self, of which there is no other God. At least, that is what it is to me.

I agree, this is the most brutal song in In Sorte Diaboli.. Very dark when it hits the Antichristus part.. The intro is awesome too
