i've noticed a lot of allusions to "Prufrock" by T.S. Elliot: sitting at the social event, eyes cold in sleep, head on a plate, the others will think ill of me, etc. I wonder if they are deliberate or not. Just kinda curious if maybe Elliot inspired some of their songs. After all, there is a song called Turn Down Elliot. Maybe theres a connection?

I adore this song. Probably my favorite off the album. I never get tired of listening to it over and over again. it gives me an undescribable feeling.

So I'm a rather new Poison the Well fan, a friend of mine recommended them to me, and I went and checked their myspace to see what they were all about, and instantly I went out and got everything of theirs that I could, When I heard this song it was like magic, I said to myself "I am going to listen to the shit out of this song, and love it".
But the lyrics are slightly confusing... Its obviously about a girl, and one he had to let go, but why? My take on it for now, is that she was good with everything, but he couldn't connect with her on a conversational level, like their only problem was they didn't know how to communicate...
also, if anyone has any recomendations for song, or other bands for that matter, I'd love to hear them
one armed cow... i would recomend norma jean, though they are slightly heavier then ptw. norma's latest, redeemer, reminds me so much of this latest ptw album. edgy but still so artistic and amazing. this song is clearly about breaking up with someone as everyone has said. one armed cow seems pretty right with the communication thing. it also seems like he was using her. sustenance, referencing to eating her. i dont know just throwing ideas around.
i love this song.
