someones hurt him & now he hurt them back. not on purpose but the other person shouldnt be as mad cause they're even. but he still feels awful?
I think it may be about in a relationship or something, where he thought it would be perfect and all kittens and rainbows, but it wasn't, he screwed it up, he hurt the girl, and he feels terrible and wants her forgiveness.
i definitely think this is about his bulimia. it could be about a person but i don't think so, i have bulimia and it sounds he is constantly relapsing. it's like a letter to himself. that he will try harder to recover this time. that is just my opinion.

I think it's almost like he's talking to one of the problems he used to have and when he says things like "you were first to knock me down" and "I know I only used that first to justify" like he's blaming that one thing for everything that happened after or something, I don't know just a thought.
