Since no one else has said anything I guess I'll put down my $0.02 . This song I believe is about a girl who's depressed and the singer has an emotional attachment to. He tries to cheer her up, but she pretends to be even when she's not. Insted of his attempt to help her succeeding, she drags him down to her.

I'm not quite sure on the whole meaning of this song is.. i think that it talks about this guy and girl and how they are two different people, but the guy gets dragged down with the girl and they both come on hard times. The guy finally realizes that he deserves better, but its too late
i think that at the end of the song he gives up nothing he say is going to change her opinion "cuz you say its so, so i guess its so"
but wouldn't that show that he does in fact give up? by just agreeing with her he stops the fight, just like if you argue with someone who is unwilling to compromise, you just finally say fuck it and just give them what they want

Yeah, I agree for the most part with what's been said. I personally think it's about someone that's in a relationship of some sort with a person that has a problem of some kind (depression, drug addiction, etc..), but is too proud to admit it and pretends to be fine. Eventually, the other person gives up trying to help them completely.
