I messed up again when I tried
You spend all your money and I
And, oh! By the way.
With all you did nothing has changed
So lie like a waste by the side
As everything just falls apart
'Cause everything just fell apart for me

I cracked my head and broke my
I correct my head and broke my
I cracked my head and broke my heart

And I don't feel the need to go on
I was happier singing along the way
I had things, I need to say
But now its like a swallowed tape
That holds up my face from inside

'As everything just falls apart
'Cause everything just fell apart for me

I cracked my head and broke my
I cracked my head and broke my
I cracked my head and broke my heart

So woe is me
Oh woe is me, yeah
Woe is me
It all fell apart

I cracked my head and broke my
I cracked my head and broke my
I cracked my head and broke my...heart

And the hell of it is what we are
We finish and wish we could start again
Our skin tears away as our memories fade with age
And we don't even know 'til its gone...
But everything just fell apart
'Cause everything just falls apart for me

I cracked my head and broke my
I cracked my head and broke my
I cracked my head and broke my heart

So woe is me
It all falls apart you see
So woe is me
It all fell apart

I cracked my head and broke my
I cracked my head and broke my
I cracked my head and broke my heart

Everything just comes down
It falls around me cause, well
Everything just falls uhhhh

So woe is me
It all falls apart you see
So woe is me
It all fell apart

But I cracked my head and broke my
I cracked my head and broke my
Everything just falls a

The lyrics in this song are amazing, but i must admit that the first line "I messed up again when i Tried" is the saddest of them all. There are no whining emo voices bitching about corrupted love or "mean people", it is just simply put out there that the singer is actually hurting. When i listen to this song I think that the singer is truely sad and does not have enough energy or happiness left to scream and bitch just to get attention, he dosn't want attention. Amazing song

This band is so underated! This song is so emotional, the hair on the back of my head stands up every time the electric guitars come in.

Amazing song by an amazing band. The lyrics from the second line of the first verse are "You spend all your money and die." I think the song makes the most sense when it's compared to a relationship. The first verse is probably a conversation J. Loren Wince had with himself after ending the relationship and it best describes how he feels about it. The lyrics, "We finish and wish we could start again," tell how he ended the relationship and regrets doing so.

This is my favortie song on the album.

Maybe the writer is feeling sorry for himself after dealing with the process of some sort of significant loss.

they did a nice acoustic version of this song for the local radio station the day of one of their shows.. it was much more sad without the electric guitar and growling vocals. The album version is still great though.

i think the song is about not being able to get ahead in life, namely because of a broken relationship.

Everything just fell apart in the relationship and hes saying that nothing really goes his way And when he says 'i cracked my head and broke my heart' it means he was confused and hurt....i think.lol im pretty sure thats right.

This is such a beautiful song. It is soft but destructive at the same time. And the lyrics are just perfect.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
