Today I sold my brother
Into hell, for evermore
Choice there was no other
I’m sad to say, it’s not the last time
I look into your body
Fill you up with enemies
It’s wave, oh, for the next life
I don’t know if I alone want you

She says what about my story time
Afraid, a little side of it is under spy
Some will eventually go out and die.
I think he really wants to die.
I don’t really want to die
I think he really swallowed

Raise it up to the lord,
If I die tomorrow, try to pull on me
Come to me with nothing
Watch you bleed, forever more

Soon he runs into his time, holding on

Choices on my own tongue
I’m strong enough, such I can deem, of
There is so long here.
It’s not enough for the last time

I look into your body,
Fill you up with enemies,
It’s wave oh for the next life
I don’t know if I alone want you.

Yeah

Searching for some better things to occupy my time
I went for the study of the evil souls and I wish that they replied
Well I sat down on your stone and I and saw fit to pour the wine
And did you think that it was worth it

It’s burnin’ on its’ head
And I won’t believe this even happens here
I won’t rest until you bloody
Sanest, darn this, I can’t get you out of sight

your fucking fault

Sick for ya, sign of amaze
Sick for ya, you’ll be numbing for days
For the way, these mother fuckers never fail.

Sick for ya
So, sick for ya

    My Interpretation

I am pretty sure that he says "Today I SOLD my brother," and not "Today I SAW my brother". But, I'm not entirely sure.

I think that what you get out of these lyrics is something The Rev could only give you. I believe he is singing about him helping his brother, maybe his metaphorical brother, more along the lines of one of his best friends, overdose, or simply commit suicide. I do not think that The Rev had anything to do with this, but as many Avenged Sevenfold fans know, A7X's old bassist had a failed suicide attempt from drug overdose. Perhaps he is talking about his brother, his friend, his old band-mate? Doubt that I am right, but it seems like it would be a possibility.

I think that is only a part of the song's meaning, if a part at all, if the song even HAS a meaning to it, other than confuse the listener. If I am right in stating this, the rest of the lyrics are to be interpreted differently from listener to listener. I think The Rev wrote half the song about one person, and the other half on another. I'm not entirely sure on any of this - but I hope you will read this and actually READ it.

    My Interpretation

My Interpretation Think there are people telling secrets of him, probably dirty ones (who knows?), probably a girl trying to break him down, through his "brother's" feelings, who believed on her instead on The Rev (keep Reading)

"Today I sold my brother Into hell, for evermore Choice there was no other I’m sad to say, it’s not the last time I look into your body Fill you up with enemies It’s wave, oh, for the next life I don’t know if I alone want you *probably with HER, on the next verse.

She says what about my story time Afraid, a little side of it is under spy Some will eventually go out and die. I think he really wants to die. I don’t really want to die I think he really swallowed"

    • This part just shows his anger and he says that his punishment will come by the time and when his brother gets to the lord on the next life he will still draw some blood of him...

"Raise it up to the lord, If I die tomorrow, try to pull on me Come to me with nothing Watch you bleed, forever more

Soon he runs into his time, holding on

Choices on my own tongue I’m strong enough, such I can deem, of There is so long here. It’s not enough for the last time

I look into your body, Fill you up with enemies, It’s wave oh for the next life I don’t know if I alone want you."

      • Don't know who the hell is Saket (if it's not the japanese drink hehe, whatever because it's not importante to me)... But i think on it as a Spirit who The Rev trust, as he says he was looking for a spirit who replie his desire...

      "Yeah

Saket has some better things to hug you by my time I went for the study of the evil souls and I wish they replied

(after killing) Well, I sat down on your stone and I talked with you for a while And did you think that it was worth it

(after killing him probably the spirit didn't go away) It’s burnin’ on its’ head And I won’t believe this even happens here I won’t rest until you bloody Sanest, darn this, I can’t get you out of sight

      Ka-fucking-boom!

Sick for ya, sign of amaze Sick for ya, you’ll be numbing for days For the way, these mother fuckers never fail.

Sick for ya So, sick for ya

The rest you think and try to interpret hehe. I don't want to talk more shits like if it is real, just think that is the meaning of this song... makes my anger overflow when i listen...

They lyrics aren't perfect b/c they haven't released any other than McFly but I did the best I could. I really don't have any idea what the fuck this song is about lol. If I knew that I had all the lyrics right then maybe I could speculate but, I highly doubt I have them all right.

I dont think ANYONE has any idea what the majority of Pinkly Smooth songs mean. I think thats the point. I'm not even sure some of these songs make sense to the band. I give major credit to whoever posted up these lyrics though, you're doing better figuring out what they're saying then I am.

I agree, most of Pinly Smooth's lyrics appear to be quite incorherent and random, but i get the feeling this song has something to do with drugs, more specifically, an overdose. Fill you up with enemies: He's given his friend the drugs, the enemies who will harm the body.

I think he really wants to die. I don’t really want to die I think he really swallowed : The friend is hooked on the drugs and is likely to soon overdose, and has no concern about whats happening to his health, and then I think he really swallowed could refer to he's swallowed a mass amount of the drug, most likely acid or pills, and he's unsure whether or not he''ll survive it.

I think that the rest of of song is to do with how your mind and body feel whilst under the influence of drugs. The noises Jimmy makes while singing could be something he or anyone does whilst high or tripping, and the suicidal and dark thoughts running through his mind whilst under the influence.

But hey, its just a guess.

I'm just laughing because some poor sap is gonna think these lyrics are all right b/c on every site they're EXACTLY what I posted here.

this song is clearly about someone helping his brother maybe, to kill himself by o.d.ing and watching him die.

If you refer to the comments on the song mcfly, it says what that song may be about, and it relates to this one. I believe Necromance Theatre, and Nosferatu does a hefty dance are both about vampirism. and im tryna work out the lyrics to all there songs not covered yet.

these lyrics r pretty close mo money lol, u g2 give urself credit for that.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
