Conjure the spirits of blackest alchemy

Churches crumble to the legion of satanic evil
The reprieval of the throne of our kind
In the mind of the misanthropic
We see the rise of the grim and malign
Iron clashing and the flashing of silver and metal
The final petal of the flower decays
Crimson spilling as the killing forever continues
Rising to prosperity on this day

They've heard our battle cry
We're coming to ravage and plunder the land
Oh, dark gods above
Give us strength as we march into victory

The sky gouged open
We ascend to war
The pearly gates before us
Are imbued with gore

Talons rake upon the flesh
Seraphims sent to death
(Sky ignites/Sky ablaze)

We return to our kingdom
Astride our skeletal steads
Warriors amassing
In army Mephisto leads

Bring it on
Here it comes motherfucker
I will prevail
You'll see me rise
I will scrape you from my boot
That is where you'll lie

The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
