Conceived Sorrow (English) Lyrics
Thorns coiled around the sun
Regret melts with the mixture of a sigh
I spit and laugh at the dreams I've seen enough of
The hearts of men eaten by loneliness grows cruelly
It melts into the layers of white
Undesired
The shattered truth means the opposite
Love to the smile
The gloomy morning has already died
It's going far away, unable to reach
I want to fall asleep in the innocent gentleness with the tears
Lying about being pregnant is so carefree
The drowning tears in the pool made by a razor, taste vaguely sweet
The gloomy tomorrow has already died
I hated myself for not being able to forgive the tears, the lies and the love
But I can't go back
It's going far away, unable to reach
I want to fall asleep in the innocent gentleness with the tears
It just echoes beyond the red sky in the background
The cries can not be... heard anymore
Regret melts with the mixture of a sigh
I spit and laugh at the dreams I've seen enough of
The hearts of men eaten by loneliness grows cruelly
Undesired
The shattered truth means the opposite
Love to the smile
It's going far away, unable to reach
I want to fall asleep in the innocent gentleness with the tears
The drowning tears in the pool made by a razor, taste vaguely sweet
I hated myself for not being able to forgive the tears, the lies and the love
But I can't go back
I want to fall asleep in the innocent gentleness with the tears
It just echoes beyond the red sky in the background
The cries can not be... heard anymore

"As a fan of Dir en Grey who owns all of their CDs, B-Sides, Rarities and Singles, (Through much discussion with other fans, as well)"
Keiko. Don't be such a damn elitist, that is wildly unattractive and I can't stand fans like that. Gah. People can form whatever opinion they like, you can relate to any song on an emotional sense even if you haven't experianced the same loss. Everyone has the sense of remorse, loss, and pain that this song portrays.
Okay, I have to say something… Unless you've lost your wife/husband AND your only child, than over half of his songs DON'T relate to you… As a fan of Dir en Grey who owns all of their CDs, B-Sides, Rarities and Singles, (Through much discussion with other fans, as well), it's the safest to assume that songs such as this reflect a deep loss he's experienced… You'll notice a recurring theme of children and lovers in his sadder, more 'personal' songs… Even further for apparent is a theme of loss… Ain't Afraid to Die, Kasumi, Mushi and Higeki Ha Mabuta Wo Oroshita Yasashiki Utsu being very good examples of that… I feel as if he thinks himself part to blame for this great loss he's endured… Perhaps he is full of hatred and misery for being forced to live a life without that which he holds most dear… All I know is that his songs aren't your typical "I hate myself 'cause I got dumped" nonsense that's infested music today, even if it might seem like it at first… Well, I've said my peace ^^"

Keiko, you think the music means less to us because we haven't lost someone? Get the fuck out. There are other pains in life that are just as bad. The songs are hard to understand because they want you to interpret it in a way that relates to you. That is why it's such poetry. Kyo can take his experiences, and encrypt them into enigmatic and beautiful songs. We interpret the symbolization he uses to our own lives, and the song begins to sing to us as individuals. The song can mean one thing to him, and another to someone else. When we all hear it, we all share our pain with each other. Our sources of pain aren't always the same, but the feelings are still there. When we can't express it, he does it for us. Kyo does this on purpose to connect with us. If you don't know that about Dir en grey, you're no fan, no matter how much you own, no matter how much you spend. Also, if you're such a fan, why don't you know that the 'g' isn't capitalized?
aww this song is so sad... i might be worng but i think in these lyrics kyo is saying that he's really sad b/c he couldnt keep his love, and now he's getting older and there's less chanses for him to find love and start a family... and also i think "Lying about being pregnant is so carefree" this line talks about his last girlfriend or something... how she lied that she's pregnant only to get Kyo... it's only a guess...
this song is pretty sad (its funny how much i can relate to diru songs) maybe its just me but this song sounds pretty much how i feel sumtimes (not the pregnant bit though)
That's true. Thanks for saying that Nurse. I also can sympasize with Kyo-dono on a few of his songs especially Ain't afraid..., Mushi & a few of the others to because I can seriously relate to the pain of everyday life. Those sorts of things exist Keiko, the cruelty of it all is sometimes people don't understand about feleing that bond with Kyo or the whole band in general because there's a person (don't get me wrong, I'm not singleing you out or anything) who says that a song just doesn't fit with one because they don't fit into the scenario. Be a bit more kind towards someone's feelings will you?
I must agree with NurseDelilah.
Keiko:Love, get over yourself.
wow....u guys are kinda mean lol...not that i dont agree with you sorta but you guys could have said it in a nicer way...but anyway onto my comment about this song...i kinda like it but it really is sorta depressing like all of his other songs since kyo kinda swore he would never write a happy song.....^^
Sometimes ignorances warrants cruelty? :D
Keiko is probably a miserable little weeaboo :3 This song is amazing, though.
