This song is about a guy and a girl saying goodbye at an airport. She is moving or leaving for school or something. They both don't want to say goodbye but she has to go. They aren't sure if the long distance thing is going to work out because it says "It's the last time, The last time you can be sure of".
reminds me of garden state.
i love the whole feel of this song, in particular how he paints a picture of the whole scene, not just one perspective. "yeah it could be so boring" i think he is kind of agreeing with the people impatiently waiting for the couple to just leave . a typical airport. i love it.
I'm going to be in pretty much this exact situation in a weeks time. Errrgh.
