I don't know what this song means, but it has a great sound. It almost sounds like they broke up (or the relationship is failing), and now he finally just wants the other person to be honest. They've got nothing left to lose, and he wants her to stop being so scared/spineless and just say how she feels for once. I don't really know.

I don't think this is about a fauther at all. I think its about a lover. and they're always doubting eachother and wanting to change whats wrong; yet nothing ever happens and they feel like they're losing eachother and hes saying be honest with me we have nothing left to lose, and if we break up theres not anyone to blame
