this song is really beautiful. probably my favorite so far after listening to the new CD twice through
I am really clueless on what this song may be about, but without a doubt, i agree with janneh, this is an amazing song...

i like how kenny repeats "We gave our lives to learn how to fly on our own." from the first song on the cd.
i'm also clueless about what it means. All i know is that when he says: "Don't close your eyes. You might miss a shooting star. Oh, don't you know? If you fall asleep you'll lose everything that means anything to you. So don't you dare forget." it means that we shouldn't give up. And that life will have it's ups and downs, and will through us in different directions, but we just have to stick with it and keep trying. I think it's about taking things slow when it comes to trials and challanges, and when we do have those times we just have to keep going because there are more things in life than sadness. "But our wings only work when we are completely alone." means that there will be times in our life when we'll be alone, but those might be the greatest times of our life when we actually learn something.
I might be wrong though.
Never the less, I think that every line in this song has it's own different meaning that ties up in a beautiful song. :)

I think it's mostly about dreaming. We might try to share our dreams with others, but ultimately we are the only ones who will ever know the wonder of them.

I think a lot of the songs on this album have to do with that movie, besides the fact that like three or four song titles from the album are direct quotes from that movie.
