i'm a follower of Christ & i'm tired of it: organized-westernized- Christianity. i'm sorry for all the outrages acts Christians have done in the name of Jesus.
I'm sorry for the 'holy wars' I'm sorry for the political propaganda. I'm sorry for the hating of liberals or the homosexuals, of anyone who is not like us. I'm sorry for shoving Jesus down your throat. I'm sorry that we made Jesus a violent, warmonger. I'm sorry we made Jesus a white, middle-class republican. I'm sorry for marginalizing anyone with different ideas, who is poor, or 'corrupt' or whatever. I'm sorry I didn't truly love people, like you deserve to be loved. You deserve love. You are loved. I'm sorry for what Christianity has become or what Christianity has done to you.
Truth is, Jesus came to save us from our selves and from our sin. He came to love. He started a love revolution, His goal was never for it to be some guy in a suit and tie condemning everyone. Jesus was all about love and peace and forgiveness. When you scrape it down to what He said, not what we have interpreted it to be, it really is a beautiful thing.

humans have twisted jesus from being an rolemodel and mentor into a reason to murder. a reason to persecute. a name to a cause that has nothing in its motives but lust for power. humans used jesus, the bible, and christianity as a way to keep people in line.. the lot who put together the bible.. talkin 300AD here.. put together sin and guilt, hell and damnation as a punishment for supposed "sins" so that people would be scared of doing whatever was put into the bible. branded as a sin. we still use the phrase today.. and as a compliment too! god-fearing... how sick.

wow i just lost all the respect i had for this band. if they stand for things like non-violence and things like that why would they write this??? to make others feel angry? if we want the world to turn around this is not the way to do it, and the fact that the band would put this out really suprises me, but mostly makes me lose faith in the people that try to change things.
