It's about a guy who really loved a girl, but he screwed up, and now he's trying to make up for his mistakes.

Everything was okay before the fall, when he most likely cheated, or just screwed up however.
i think this song is about a guy who was in a relationship with this girl. and it was a deep, loving relationship. but something happened. and she couldn't trust him, saying it was his fault things got messed up.
and now he wants to make everything better. make things they way they use to be.

to me this song isnt about someone not trusting someone or breaking up with anyone one...to me this song is about when they first met and how he didnt want anything to change...but when it did he wanted things back the way they were he wanted to go back to being a lil kid again back to that special memory but thats just a theory i really dont know.

how does this relate to the music video?
i pretty much agree with sk8er, although for me it has more to do with that the singer isn't with whoever they're singing about anymore for whatever reason (means something in particular to me, although it could be anything). so its about how he/she is dealing with it. seems to me like they're taking a fair share of the blame in whatever happened.

for me it really clicked with some stuff i have going on, but i guess that's the point, it means different things to different people
as for the video, i have no clue, i just know its pretty darn cute, makes me happy :]
I think the music video has something to do with relationships. The singer mentions 'everything was new and less watered down before the summer turned to brown' .. and the band members all start out with brown - wearing brown, brown instruments, etc. But eventually the little kid meets up with one of his friends (the girl) and their relationship is young and carefree (shown by the change of brown to pink). That's my take on it.. something like that. :P
or it could be about a girl that already has a boyfriend, but then she cheats on him with this guy, who feels bad because he loves her but is making her feel bad and disloyal, and he tells her it isn't her fault because it's his fault, and he's the ones with the demons to wrestle now.
to me, that's how i take it...
Yeah, same here. I think the girl did something, but the guy doesn't want her to apologize because he -wants- her to feel bad. I think that's what the demons to wrestle now refers to.
