50 Minutes Lyrics

Sore - all over me
Sore - all over me
Sore - all over me
(I'm sore, all over me)
Sore - all over me
(I'm sore, all over me)
Sore - all over me
(I'm sore, all over me)
Sore - all over me
(I'm sore, all over me)

Mind empty, aching
Don't wash, don't care, no calls
Mind conscious, tiring
Can't see, can't speak, can't think

Sink, sunk, funk, fucked, touched
Scratchy, stuck, stuck, stuck

50 minutes, 52 weeks, 4 years x8

Bored - don't talk to me
Bored - don't talk to me
Bored - don't talk to me
(I'm bored, don't talk to me)
Bored - don't talk to me
(I'm bored, don't talk to me)

Mind conscious, tiring
Can't see, can't speak, can't think
Mind empty, aching
Don't wash, don't care, no calls

Fall, fell, dirt, hurt, broke, choking, spunked, spunked, spunked

50 minutes, 52 weeks, 4 years x16

4 years (to end)

i think this song is about a break up. how scattered you feel after you just broke up with some one especially if they were together for a long period of time. the 50 minutes 52 weeks and 4 years i think is just put there to represent a long secluded relationship.

well it's actually like 5 years, 50 minutes cause there's 52 weeks in a year, so it confuses me as to why they would bother saying 52 weeks 4 years. anyone?

I think they say it as '50 minutes, 52 weeks, 4 years' because it works better. Using minutes instead of hours emphersises the time. Also, it flows a lot better in the song because of the (kind-of) alliteration of 'fifty'

To me it sounds like she's saying it as a progression:

50 minutes ---> 52 Weeks ---> 4 years

like the relationship went so quickly, but in reality it lasted 4 years. Which makes the bit when they both sing together saying 50 minutes 52 weeks 4 YEARS!

i don't know whether i'm explaining this correctly! Like 50 minutes of relationship went by, then 52 weeks and finally 4 years and then it ended

it makes sense to me!

that makes perfect sense to me.

i, too, think it is about a break up. also, i like how it can be read as "too weak for years"..also does anyone have the tabs for this song? cant find them anywhere

50 minutes - how long they have sex for. 52 weeks - just a length of time in a year. 4 years - how long the relationship lasted.

i think this song is about the passion at the start of a relationship, the sex and the madness, and then how they just get bored of eachother towards the end, and can't stand to be in eachothers company. then they just feel bad, because nearly everyone does when a relationship ends.

It's about therapy...and its 50 minutes 52 weeks 4 years because of 'poetic licence'..that's what Dee said anyway :)
